This 5/8" ID x 5 feet per roll, black silicone heater hose is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures. The hose has a maximum temperature rating of 350°F and a maximum working pressure of 60 psi. Its dimensions are 16mm (0.625") ID, 4mm wall thickness, and 24mm (0.95") OD, with a length of 1.5m (5ft).
The hose features a 2-ply reinforcement construction, providing higher pressure resistance. It offers exceptional temperature resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -65°F to +350°F. The polyester fiber reinforcement enhances the hose's ability to withstand high pressure and resist coolant additives.
This silicone vacuum hose is suitable for general-purpose air or water transportation applications within the engine bay. It is not recommended for use with oil or fuel, as these substances can significantly reduce the lifetime of the silicone tube.
It is important to note that standard nylon fittings may not be able to withstand the high temperatures present in the engine bay. For this reason, it is recommended to use high-temperature, glass-filled nylon fittings when connecting this reinforced silicone heater hose.
